A picture is worth a thousand words

But, you know I'll talk about it anyway. In less than a thousand words. Maybe a hundred words.

Sophie has a new habit. After she is finished with her meal she dumps it out onto her highchair tray. Then she puts a generous amount on her hands. And then? Then she puts it in her hair.

She does this with spaghetti sauce, milk leftover from her cereal, macaroni and cheese, ketchup, ranch dressing. The list goes on.

Here is what happens if she had oatmeal for breakfast and I don't happen to notice her right away:

Happy Wednesday!

Oh my heavens!!! That looks like such a pain to wash. You must have to bathe her a million times a day. I would lose my mind!!!!

Oh no way!
I remember when my kids began to show interest in playing with food. I put a stop to it by monitoring them continuously while they were eating, and as soon as I saw they were done, the food went away. I couldn't deal with the mess!!! But... I don't have cute pictures like you do. LOL

OK-Gabriel did the EXACT same thing at her exact age. He'd smush anything that he'd eaten into his hair as his homage to being "done". It drove me batty!

I have the same thing going on over here. One thing I know for sure is my baby is the cleanest one in the bunch. I think she recieves 2 baths daily!

Wow! We've never had one that bad! It's always great to get photographic evidence of those moments. I never get the worst ones because I'm too busy trying to get control of the situation! I really watch my girls on red sauce days. I have a feeling we'll have a lot more stained clothing this year with all of our fun outdoors.

Too cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the look on her face - sort of makes you wonder why she did it if she wasn't going to be ecstatic about it!

I'd better not let Michael see this--from what I've read, they're VERY much alike, and I don't want him getting any ideas! Maybe it's the age . . .
